Then click forward one more time and then turn to your right, then click the Magnifying Glass cursor icon on the door, then click the Action cursor icon on the lock to open it. Inside, take the telescope into your Inventory. Back out of this closeup, turn all the way around, but notice that you can't go any further into the cellar for now. Go back up the flight of steps and leave the cellar area for now.
Then, make your way over to the flight of stairs and go up to the second floor. At the top of the stairs, just keep clicking forward until you come to the door at the end of the hallway, then click on it to enter. Inside the room, click forward 2X to the window, then turn to the left and click the Action cursor icon on the chest of drawers. Watch the video sequence. Afterwards, click forward once to the door as if to exit, but then turn to your right and click upwards to climb on top of the chest of drawers. Notice up in the rafters is a doorknob; click on it to take it into your Inventory. Turn to your left while up here and look up and notice the trap door in the ceiling. In your Inventory, choose the doorknob and click it onto the hole in the trap door, then click forward to open the trap door. Then click forward once more to enter the upper rafters. Click forward once more while up here and notice the empty tripod. In your Inventory, select the telescope, and then click this onto the tripod. Then with the Magnifying Glass cursor icon, click on the viewing end of the telescope to have a look through; notice the man at the bridge warming his hands over the fire barrel. Back out of this closeup, and go back downstairs to the bedroom. (The other door in this bedroom is locked for now.) Exit the bedroom and go all the way back downstairs to the first floor. For now, exit the inn by clicking on the front door.

When you finally reach the base of the cross, tilt your view all the way down until you get the Magnifying Glass cursor icon, click on it, then take the slingshot into your Inventory. Leave the cross area and go back down to the path. Click forward 5X, turn to your right, click forward once, tilt your view slightly down, and then take the pick axe into your Inventory. Turn around 180 degrees, click forward once, turn to your left, click forward 2X, turn to your left again, click forward 2X, and then turn to your right and notice the swirling lights. Behind the swirling lights, you can if you want, click on the picture behind the bars to look at it. Then, in your Inventory, choose the pick axe and click this onto the swirling lights. For now, exit the inn. After exiting the inn, if you turn to your left and keep clicking forward and to your left, you will eventually come to that man that you saw earlier through the telescope warming his hands over a fire barrel where a bridge is. If you attempt to click on him to pass over the bridge, he will stop you and tell you to go away. So for now, after exiting the inn, click forward 3X and you will come to the two signposts. Veer off to the one on the right, the one that says Lacus. Click forward once here and you will come to two more signs; veer off to the left, keep heading toward the one that says Lacus. After clicking forward 2X here, you'll come upon a log cabin. If you actually go up to the cabin, the man there will prevent you from entering. So instead, turn slightly to your right, click forward once, then turn to your left, and click forward one more time, and then climb the ladder you see in front of you up the tree. Once up there, you will see birds flying in the distance that the old man back in the inn mentioned. Go into your Inventory and get the slingshot, and then click this onto the birds. Then turn slightly to your right and use the Magnifying Glass cursor icon on the rope that you see. Then select the knife from your Inventory and click this onto the rope. Watch the video sequence. Then make your way back down to the bedroom, and then notice the woman innkeeper come in through the other door. Move your cursor to the top of this panel and get the Action cursor icon and click it on the latch. (For this puzzle, I thought it had something to do with palindromes, which are words that are spelled the same forwards as backwards, such as level or mom. You'll notice in the center of this puzzle on the cross is the word Tenet, which is spelled the same forwards as backwards. I thought the solution to this puzzle would involve creating other palindromes within the letters around the word Tenet. I actually "stumbled" upon thesolution to this puzzle by the process of elimination. I thought perhaps after solving the puzzle it would spell out other palindromes, and perhaps it does, but it goes by too quickly, and it looks as if it might be written in Latin, which I am not fluent in.) For the solution to this puzzle, and the placement of the sets of four letters, see the graphic below:
After placing the sets of four letters correctly, take the cross where the word "Tenet" was into your Inventory. Back out of this closeup. Then turn around and go back down the flight of steps. At the bottom of the staircase, notice the alcove, and inside you'll see a dark indentation. Go into your Inventory and select the "Tenet" cross and click this inside of the alcove where you see the dark indentation. Behind you, the stairs have shifted downward. Turn around and go down these flight of steps. At the bottom, click forward once, turn to your left, click forward once again, turn slightly to the right, click forward 2X, turn to your left and then click on the grate for a closeup where the candle is. Notice the hunk of chain down at the bottom-left. Go into your Inventory and select the bottle of corrosive acid; click this onto the hunk of chain. After the grate has opened, go inside and take the amulet that is in the back into your Inventory. Watch the video sequence. After the video sequence, it's simple enough to get away from the "sisters". Turn to your left, click forward once, turn to your right, and then use the Action cursoricon to click on the lever on the wall. Afterwards, turn to the right, and click 5X to your right/forward around the perimeter of the room in a clockwise fashion. Then, turn to your left, go into your Inventory and select the "Tenet" cross and click it into the indentation in the middle of the small alcove. The stairs have risen once more. Head over to here to go under the stairs, and then click up the spiral set of stairs and watch the video sequence.
After the video sequence, turn slightly to your left, click towards Mina (there's nothing you can do for her right now), turn slightly to your left, click forward once, turn slightly toward the right, click forward once more, then to the left slightly, forward once, and then click the Magnifying Glass cursor icon on the dark spot on the wall. In the closeup, go into your Inventory and select the hexagonal plaque with the winged creature on it, and click this onto the gears. Then, use the Action cursor icon on this. Then, go into your Inventory and once more select the circular dragon key, and click it onto the center hub. This will open the huge diaphragm-like door up above. Back out of this closeup, turn around 180 degrees, and click your way back over to where Mina is; now you may click on her. Watch the ending video sequence as you climb above and use Da Vinci's flying machine.
After rescuing Mina, the ending leaves for an obvious sequel in which you must battle -and finally - destroy Dracula.
