1. Introduction

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers is the first in a series of three adventure
games for the PC made by Sierra. Sins of the Fathers features Gabriel as a
writer in New Orleans trying to find ideas for his new book. After reading the
news about a number of voodoo murders in the city, Gabriel decides to research
the subject for his book and sets off to investigate. The voodoo murders in the
city increase as the game progresses, and Gabriel soon discovers the location
of the secret voodoo base in New Orleans.
Featuring one of the most detailed and involving plots in an adventure game,
Sins of the Fathers is an outstanding game in terms of story, depth and the
realism of the characters. Set over ten days, the length and mystery of the
voodoo case in Sins of the Fathers is one that rivals the superb mystery of the
first Broken Sword game. Overall, SF is an excellent start to the GK series,
and is considered by many fans to be the best of the three.

2. Walkthrough

- Day 1 -
St. George's Book Shop
At the start of the game, walk through the curtains at the top-right corner
of the room, and get the hair gel from the medicine cabinet in the bathroom.
Get the flashlight from the right side of the dresser, and walk back through
the curtains. Read the book of German poetry from the top-left shelf and get
the book on snakes from the top-right shelf.
Get the magnifying glass and tweezers on the right side of the desk, and open
the cash register to get the gift certificate. Ask Grace about Messages four
times to reveal the locations for Grandmother Knight's House and the Police
Station on the map. Read the newspaper on the counter, and open the door to
exit the book shop. Select the New Orleans map.
Grandmother Knight's House
Walk to the attic and get the sketchbook on the right arm of the chair. Open
the sketchbook. Operate the clock. Move the dragon on the outer disc to the
top, and move the clock hands to 3. Operate the key, and get the photograph
and the letter from the secret drawer. Exit the view of the clock and walk
downstairs. Ask Grandmother Knight about the Knight Family, and then ask her
about Harrison Knight, Philip Knight and Margaret Templeton Knight. Ask her
about Heinz Ritter, and then exit the house. Select the French Quarter.
Police Station
Talk to the desk sergeant and ask him about Detective Mosely. Ask him about
the Photographs, and then exit the conversation to receive the envelope. In
the inventory, open the envelope to find two photographs. Exit the station.
Jackson Square
After talking to the desk sergeant in the police station, the motorcycle
officer will arrive at the bottom-right corner of the square. Find the mime
and walk near him until he starts following, and then walk near the officer.
The mime will annoy him and he will leave. Operate the radio on the bike to
find the location of the crime scene. Exit the square and select the New
Orleans map.
Crime Scene
After Mosely exits the area, use the sketchbook on the lines to copy the
pattern. Use the magnifying glass on the flat section of grass at the right
side of the area and use the tweezers to pick up the small snake scale. Get
the clay from the bank of the lake and exit the area.
Police Station
Talk to the desk sergeant and ask him about Detective Mosely. Open the
swinging door and open the door to Mosely's office. Ask Mosely about the
Pattern Around Bodies and the Other Six Patterns. Exit the office and ask
Franks for the file. Put the file in the in box and return to the office. Ask
Mosely about the Photographs and say "A cop/author photo might be nice." When
Mosely asks if there is anything else, say "Hold on a sec while I go check my
hair." Outside the office, get the file and use it on the photocopy machine.
Put the file in the in box, and then exit the station.
St. George's Book Shop
Ask Grace to Request Research Malia Gedde and exit the conversation to
complete day 1.
- Day 2 -
St. George's Book Shop
Read the newspaper on the counter and open the door to exit the book shop.
Police Station
Open the swinging door and operate the temperature gauge. Move the dial to 75
or above, and then open the door to enter Mosely's office. Ask Mosely for
coffee and get the badge from his coat after he leaves the room. Exit
Mosely's office and open the door to exit the police station. Select the New
Orleans map.
Gedde Estate
Operate the door knocker and say "I'd like to see Malia Gedde, please." Say
"I DO have official business." Show the badge to the man to enter the
mansion. After a while, Malia will arrive in the room. Ask her about Voodoo,
Lake Ponchartrain, and then Flirt With Her to get thrown out of the mansion.
Exit the Gedde estate and select the French Quarter.
Jackson Square
Walk west and give the gift certificate to the hot dog vendor to receive a
lucky dog. Give the lucky dog to the boy on the platform, and then walk east
and north to return to the area with the artist. Walk south and return north
to see the artist's technical drawing blow away in the wind. Walk south, west
and talk to the boy on the platform. Say "Can you fit through the bars around
the statue?", and he will give you the technical drawing. Walk east and give
the technical drawing, partial pattern and the photocopied file to the
artist. Exit Jackson Square.
Historical Voodoo Museum
Talk to Dr. John and ask him about Voodoo. Ask him about Historical Voodoo
five times, Marie Laveau six times and Current Voodoo twice. Exit the museum.
St. Louis Cemetery #1
Ask the watchman about Marie Laveau and Other Marked Tombs. Get the brick and
use the sketchbook on the markings. Exit the cemetery.
Moonbeam Residence
Ask Magentia about St. John's Eve, Snakes, Grimwald, and then say "Would you
show me how you handle Grimwald?" While Magentia is dancing, get the snake
skin from the cage. In the inventory, use the magnifying glass on the snake
skin. After Magentia has finished the dance, show her the sketch of the
markings and exit the Moonbeam residence.
Dixieland Drug Store
Read the sign at the left side of the counter. Talk to the proprietor and ask
him about the Voodoo Murders to hear the words Cabrit Sans Cor'. Exit the
conversation and exit the store.
St. George's Book Shop
Ask Grace to Request Research on Madame Cazanoux and exit the conversation to
complete day 2.
- Day 3 -
St. George's Book Shop
Read the newspaper on the counter and talk to Grace. Ask her about Messages
twice, and then ask for Ritter's Phone Nbr. Exit the conversation and walk
through the curtains to the bedroom. Use the phone, and press the top-left
button to turn it on. Dial 5551280 to find that Madame Cazanoux's dog is
named Castro. Use the phone, dial 5556170 and say "Do you have Madame
Cazanoux as a client?" Say "I'm worried about Castro. He's missed three dance
lessons". Use the phone and dial 49093243333 to call Wolfgang. Exit the
bedroom and open the door to exit the book shop. Select the New Orleans map.
Grandmother Knight's House
Ask Grandmother Knight about Wolfgang Ritter, and then exit the house. Select
the French Quarter.
Jackson Square
Walk north and talk to the artist to receive the reconstructed pattern. Walk
west and get the veil from the fortune teller when she starts dancing. In the
inventory, use the magnifying glass on the veil and look at the snake scale.
Use the tweezers on the veil to get the scale, and then use the magnifying
glass on the new snake scale. Give the veil back to the fortune teller and
walk north to enter the cathedral.
St. Louis Cathedral
Open the door at the right side of the room. Get the collar and the black
shirt, and then exit the church.
Jackson Square
Walk west, and then north. Talk to the fortune teller and exit Jackson
Square. Select the New Orleans map.
Tulane University
After the lecture, open the door at the left side of the stage and give the
reconstructed pattern to Hartridge. Show the photograph of the crime scene to
him, and then ask him about Cabrit Sans Cor'. Exit the university and select
the French Quarter.
Cazanoux Residence
Use the shirt and gel on Gabriel. Operate the door knocker and say "Father
MacLaughlin to see ye." Inside the house, ask Madame Cazanoux about Cabrit
Sans Cor' and say it means "goat without horns". Ask her about Human
Sacrifice, Real Voodoo Queens and Voodoo Hounfour. Use the clay on the snake
braclet to make the clay mold, and then exit the house.
Dixieland Drug Store
Talk to the proprietor and ask him about Animal Masks. Ask him about Willy
Jr. and exit the shop.
St. George's Book Shop
Ask Grace to research the reconstructed pattern. Exit the conversation and
wait for Bruno to enter the shop. When he asks if the painting is for sale,
say "How much would you give me for it?" Say "Stay out of this Grace." Say
"Fine, it's yours" to receive a hundred dollars. Exit the book shop.
Dixieland Drug Store
Give the hundred dollars to the proprietor to receive the crocodile mask and
the gambling oil. Exit the shop.
St. Louis Cemetery #1
Walk east twice to talk to Malia. Walk west twice and exit the cemetery.
Police Station
Open the door to enter Mosely's office. After Mosely talks to Crash, exit the
police station.
Napoleon House
Talk to the bartender and ask him about Voodoo twice, Bar Patrons twice and
Sam and Voodoo. Exit the conversation and give the gambling oil to Sam. Say
"Ever wonder why Markus wins every time?" Say "This is a powerful voodoo
oil." Say "This voodoo oil could make a NUN get lucky." Give the clay mold to
Sam and exit Napoleon House to complete day 3.
- Day 4 -
St. George's Book Shop
After receiving the newspaper clipping from Grace, read the newspaper on the
counter and exit the shop.
Napoleon House
Sam will give Gabriel the snake bracelet replica. Exit Napoleon House.
Jackson Square Overlook
Look at the left binoculars to view Crash talking to the drummer. Exit the
Jackson Square overlook.
St. Louis Cathedral
Show the snake braclet replica to Crash. Ask him about the Drummer and Voodoo
Hounfour. Look at Crash, open his shirt and use the sketchbook on the snake
tattoo. Exit the cathedral to complete day 4.
- Day 5 -
St. George's Book Shop
After receiving the package from Grace, ask Grace to Request Research on Rada
drums. In the inventory, read the journal and Wolfgang's letter. Read the
newspaper on the counter and exit the shop.
Historical Voodoo Museum
After the snake grabs Gabriel, quickly operate the wall switch to push the
snake off and exit the museum. Select the New Orleans map.
Tulane University
Open the door at the left side of the stage to find that Hartridge is dead.
Get the notes on the desk and exit the university. Select the French Quarter.
St. George's Book Shop
Grace will pick a snake scale from Gabriel and put it in the ashtray. Use the
tweezers to get the snake scale. In the inventory, use the magnifying glass
on the new snake scale. Exit the book shop.
St. Louis Cemetery #1
Use the sketchbook on the new markings. In the inventory, compare the old
sketch of the markings with the new sketch of the markings. Wait for the
watchman to leave the area, and then use the red brick on the tomb. Using the
symbols from the two sketches, write "DJBRINGSEKEYMADOULE". Press exit to
complete the message, and then exit the cemetery.
Police Station
Open the door to enter Mosely's office. Ask him to Reopen Case and give him
Hartridge's notes, newspaper clipping, reconstructed pattern and two snake
scales. Exit the police station to complete day 5.
- Day 6 -
St. George's Book Shop
Read the newspaper on the counter. Get the envelope and open it to find a
note from Mosely and a small brass key. Read the note. Show the tracing of
the snake tattoo to Grace and say "I'm going to a party tonight. Costumes,
you know." When she asks about Malia, say "Well, if you're jealous about my
feeling for her...." After Malia paints the snake on Gabriel, exit the shop.
Jackson Square
Walk north and use the Rada drum book on the drummer. Select Call Conclave on
the first page, Tonight on the second page and Swamp on the third page. Walk
south, and then west. Talk to the vendor and say "Say, haven't I seen you
before?" Say "You say you used to be at Royal and Conti?" Say "Why don't you
go back there?" Say "I definitely think you should go back to Royal and
Conti." Exit Jackson Square.
Police Station
After the desk sergeant leaves the station, quickly open the swinging door
and use the brass key on the door to enter Mosely's office. Open the bottom
drawer of Mosely's desk and get the trackers. Exit the station.
Historical Voodoo Museum
Use either tracker on the sekey madoule select the New Orleans map.
Bayou St. John
Use the tracker device anywhere in the bayou to turn it on. Walk toward the
flashing dot on the device to find the entrance to the clearing. Use the
crocodile mask on Gabriel to enter the clearing. Answer Damballah and Ogoun
Badagris to Dr. John's questions to complete day 6.
- Day 7 -
St. George's Book Shop
Operate the phone and dial 49093243333 to call Wolfgang. Ask about Tetelo,
the Talisman twice, Tetelo's Remains and African Homeland. Exit the bedroom,
read the newspaper on the counter and exit the book shop.
St. Louis Cemetery #1
Walk east twice and press the button to enter the tomb. Use the flashlight
and open the middle drawer to find Mosely. After Gabriel wakes up, open the
middle drawer again and get the wallet. In the inventory, open the wallet to
find the credit card. Press the button to exit the tomb and walk west three
times to exit the cemetery.
St. George's Book Shop
Walk through the curtains to the bedroom and operate the phone. Dial 5851130
to call the travel agency, and say "How much for a trip to Rittersberg,
Germany?" Say "Charge it to my Americans Repressed." Exit the book shop,
select the New Orleans map, and then select the New Orleans International
Airport to travel to Germany.
Schloss Ritter
Walk east through the arch to enter the chapel. Look at any panel, and then
exit the chapel to return to the hall. Ask Gerde about Chapel Panels and
Initiation Ceremony, and then exit the conversation. Get the salt shaker near
Gerde and the dagger near the lion head at the left side of the room. Walk up
the steps to the bedroom. Get the scissors and the chamber pot on top of the
cabinet. Use the scissors on Gabriel.
Get the scroll from the display case at the left side of the mirror. Open the
window and operate the snow. Look at the inscription above the left door, and
then open the right door to exit the room. Ask Gerde about the Portal Poem.
Exit the conversation and walk east through the arch to the chapel. Put the
chamber pot on the altar. Use the dagger on Gabriel and use the salt shaker
with the chamber pot. Operate the altar to kneel in front of it and use the
scroll on Gabriel to complete day 7.
- Day 8 -
Schloss Ritter
Get the large brass key on top of the table and use it on the left door to
enter the library. Look at the middle shelf at the back of the room and read
the geography book by Loel Caley. Look at the right shelf at the back of the
room and read the sociology book by John Roots. Look at the top-right shelf
at the left side of the room and read the history book by Earl Lee Days.
Look at the second from left shelf at the back of the room and read the
religion book by A. Curate. Look at the bottom-right shelf at the back of the
room and read the snake mounds book by Seymour Shards. Exit the library and
open the right door to return to the hall. Give the snake mounds book to
Gerde and say "We can use my credit card." to complete day 8.
- Day 9 -
Snake Mound
Walk to the snake mound to enter the outer wheel. The outer wheel takes place
in the form of a clock, so there are twelve rooms in all. Gabriel can either
move backward one hour by walking south or forward one hour by walking north.
Get the tiles from room six, eight and nine. Get the snake rod from room
nine, and continue north. Get the tiles from room ten, one, three, four and
five. Walk north to room six and check the inventory. There should be ten
tiles in the inventory, and each tile will have a number of snakes on it.
Put the tiles in their correct holes in the rooms (Example: The tile with six
snakes on it will be put in room six). After putting all the tiles in the
correct rooms, walk to room three and use the snake rod in the tile. Walk
north to room six and use the vines to enter room seven. After meeting
Wolfgang, quickly use the snake rod in the tile to enter the inner wheel.
Walk east and look at the story on the table. Look at the lid of the table,
and then get the two iron bars. Operate the iron bars, walk west and use the
dagger on the monster to complete day 9.
- Day 10 -
St. George's Book Shop
Read the envelope on the desk and talk to Mosely in the bedroom. Ask him to
Make a Plan and exit the conversation to give him the tracker. Exit the
bedroom, read the newspaper on the counter and exit the book shop.
St. Louis Cathedral
Enter the right confessional at the left side of the cathedral and use the
snake rod in the hole. Put the rod and the tracker under the kneeler. Exit
the confessional and operate the keypad on the right door to enter the outer
ring. Walk south twice and operate the keypad on the door to enter the
office. Get the record book and exit the office. Walk north three times and
operate the keypad on the door to enter the storage room. Get the wolf mask
and robe and the boar mask and robe. Exit the room and walk east twice.
Operate either of the drums and select Summon. Select Next Book from the menu
at the top, and then select Brother Eagle. Exit the view of the drum message
to summon Brother Eagle. Walk down the north-east tunnel to return to the
outer ring, and walk north once. Operate the keypad on the door and get the
plastic card at the left side of the room. Walk south and use the card on the
keypad to enter the money room.
Get the money, and then exit the room. Walk south twice and use the card on
the keypad to enter the morgue. Exit the morgue and walk south three times.
Use the card on the keypad to enter Grace's room. Use the talisman on Grace.
Give the boar mask and robe to Mosely and use the wolf mask and robe on
Gabriel. Show the talisman to Malia, and throw the talisman to Mosely. Get
the idol and click on Malia to complete the game.

- Day 1 -
Clay
The clay is found on the bank of the lake at the crime scene area. It is used
on the bracelet in Cazanoux's house on day 3 to make the clay mold.
Envelope
The desk sergeant will give Gabriel the envelope after he is asked about the
photographs. It is opened to find the photograph of the crime scene and the
photograph of Mosely.
File
After Franks has taken the photograph of Gabriel and Mosely in the police
station, the file can be found in the inbox on Franks' desk. It is used on
the photocopy machine to make the photocopy of the file.
Flashlight
The flashlight is found at the right side of the dresser in the bedroom of
St. George's Book Shop. It is used in the tomb on day 7.
Gift Certificate
The gift certificate is found in the cash machine in St. George's Book Shop.
It is given to the lucky dog vendor in Jackson Square on day 2.
Hair Gel
The hair gel is found in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom of St. George's
Book Shop. It is used on Gabriel outside the Cazanoux residence on day 3.
Letter
The letter is found in the secret drawer of the clock in the attic of
Grandmother Knight's House. It is read in the inventory.
Magnifying Glass
The magnifying glass is found at the right side of the desk in St. George's
Book Shop. It is used to find the snake scale in the grass at the right side
of the crime scene area, it is used on the snake skin at the Moonbeam
residence on day 2, it is used on the fortune teller's veil on day 3 and is
also used on the snake scale from the voodoo museum on day 5.
Old Photograph
The old photograph is found in the secret drawer of the clock in the attic of
Grandmother Knight's House.
Partial Pattern
The partial pattern is made by using the sketchbook on the pattern of lines
at the crime scene. It is given to the technical artist at the top-right
corner of Jackson Square on day 2.
Photocopy of the File
The photocopy of the file is made by using the file in the photocopy machine
at the police station. It is given to the technical artist at the top-right
corner of Jackson Square on day 2.
Photograph of the Crime Scene
The desk sergeant will give Gabriel an envelope containing the photograph of
the crime scene after he is asked about the photographs. It is shown to
Hartridge in the Tulane University on day 3.
Photograph of Mosely
The desk sergeant will give Gabriel an envelope containing the photograph of
Mosely after he is asked about the photographs.
Sketchbook
The sketchbook is found on the right arm of the chair in the attic of
Grandmother Knight's House. It is used to copy the pattern at the crime
scene, it is used on the markings on the tomb at St. Louis Cemetery #1 on day
2 and day 5, and is used on Crash's tattoo in St. Louis Cathedral on day 4.
Snake Scale
The snake scale is found in the grass at the right side of the crime scene
area. It is shown to Mosely on day 5.
Tweezers
The tweezers are found at the right side of the desk in St. George's Book
Shop. They are used to get the small snake scale in the grass at the right
side of the crime scene area, they are used to get the snake scale from the
fortune teller's veil on day 3, and they are also used to get the snake scale
from the ashtray in St. George's Book Shop on day 5.
- Day 2 -
Badge
After Mosely leaves the office to make the coffee in the police station, the
badge is found on Mosely's coat. It is shown to the man at the Gedde estate.
Brick
The brick is found near the tomb at St. Louis Cemetery #1. It is used to
write a message on the tomb on day 5.
Lucky Dog
The lucky dog vendor in Jackson Square will give Gabriel the lucky dog for
the gift certifcate. It is given to the boy on the platform at the
bottom-left corner of Jackson Square.
Sketch of the Markings
The sketch of the markings is made by using the sketchbook on the markings on
the tomb at St. Louis Cemetery #1. It is shown to Magentia at the Moonbeam
residence.
Snake Skin
The snake skin is found in the cage at the Moonbeam residence while Magentia
is dancing. It is used with the magnifying glass.
Technical Drawing
After the technical artist has lost his technical drawing at Jackson Square,
the drawing can be found by asking the boy on the platform at the bottom-left
corner of Jackson Square to help. It is returned to the technical artist.
- Day 3 -
Black Shirt
The collar is found in the room at the right side of St. Louis Cathedral. It
is used on Gabriel outside the Cazanoux residence.
Clay Mold
The clay mold is made by using the clay on the bracelet in Cazanoux's house.
It is given to Sam after he wins the chess tournament in Napoleon House.
Collar
The collar is found in the room at the right side of St. Louis Cathedral. It
is used on Gabriel outside the Cazanoux residence.
Crocodile Mask
The proprietor at the Dixieland Drug Store will give Gabriel the crocodile
mask and the gambling oil for a hundred dollars. It is used on Gabriel
outside the clearing at Bayou St. John on day 6.
Gambling Oil
The proprietor at the Dixieland Drug Store will give Gabriel the gambling oil
and the crocodile mask for a hundred dollars. It is given to Sam in Napoleon
House.
Hundred Dollars
Bruno will give Gabriel a hundred dollars for the painting in St. George's
Book Shop. It is used to buy the crocodile mask in the Dixieland Drug Store.
Phone Book Page
Grace will give Gabriel the phone book page at the start of the day. It is
used to find the numbers for Cazanoux, the travel agency and the vet.
Reconstructed Pattern
The technical artist will give Gabriel the reconstructed pattern after he is
talked to at the top-right corner of Jackson Square. It is given to Hartridge
in the Tulane University and is given to Mosely at the end of day 5.
Snake Scale
The snake scale is found by using the tweezers on the fortune teller's veil.
It is used with the magnifying glass.
Veil
The veil can be found on the fortune teller while she dances at the top-left
corner of Jackson Square. It is magnified to find a snake scale, and the veil
is then returned to the fortune teller.
Wolfgang Ritter's Phone Number
Grace will give Gabriel the Wolfgang's phone number near the start of the day
when he asks her for Ritter's Phone Nbr.
- Day 4 -
Newspaper Clipping
Grace will give Gabriel the newspaper clipping at the start of the day. It is
given to Mosely at the end of day 5.
Snake Braclet Replica
Sam will give Gabriel the snake bracelet replica in Napoleon House. It is
shown to Crash in St. Louis Cathedral.
Tracing of the Snake Tattoo
The tracing is made in St. Louis Cathedral by using the sketchbook on the
tattoo on Crash's chest. It is shown to Grace at the start of day 6.
- Day 5 -
Hartridge's Notes
Hartridge's notes are found on the desk in Hartridge's office at Tulane
University. They are shown to Mosley at the end of the day.
Journal
Grace will give Gabriel the journal at the start of the day. It is read in
the inventory.
Sketch of the Markings
The sketch of the second markings is made by using the sketchbook on the
markings on the tomb at St. Louis Cemetery #1. It is compared with the sketch
of the first markings in the inventory.
Snake Scale
After Gabriel is attacked by the snake in the Historical Voodoo Museum and
returns to St. George's Book Shop, the scale is found in the ashtray. It is
used with the magnifying glass and is given to Mosley at the end of the day.
Wolfgang's letter
Grace will give Gabriel Wolfgang's letter at the start of the day. It is read
in the inventory.

Note from Mosely
The note from Mosely is found in the envelope at the start of the day. It is
read in the inventory.
Rada Drums Book
Grace will give Gabriel the Rada drums book at the start of the day. It is
used on the drummer in Jackson Square.
Small Brass Key
The note from Mosely is found in the envelope at the start of the day. It is
used to open the door to Mosely's office.
Tracker Device
The tracker device is found in the bottom drawer of Mosely's office. It is
used in Bayou St. John to find the entrance to the clearing.
Trackers
The tracker are found in the bottom drawer of Mosely's office. One tracker is
used in the sekey madoule in the Historical Voodoo Museum and the other
tracker is put under the kneeler in St. Louis Cathedral on day 10.

Chamber Pot
The chamber pot is found on top of the cabinet in the bedroom at Schloss
Ritter. It is put on the altar in the chapel.
Credit Card
The credit card is found in the wallet. It is used to pay for the flight from
New Orleans to Schloss Ritter on day 7, and from Schloss Ritter to the snake
mound on day 8.
Dagger
The dagger is found near the lion head in the hall at Schloss Ritter. It is
used on Gabriel in the chapel.
Salt Shaker
The salt shaker is found near Gerde in the hall at Schloss Ritter. It is used
with the chamber pot in the chapel.
Scissors
The scissors are found on top of the cabinet in the bedroom at Schloss
Ritter. They are used on Gabriel in the bedroom.
Scroll
The scroll is found in the display case in the bedroom at Schloss Ritter. It
is used on Gabriel in the chapel.
Wallet
The wallet is found in the middle drawer in the tomb at St. Louis Cemetery
#1. It is opened to find a credit card.

Large Brass Key
The large brass key is found on top of the table in the bedroom at the start
of the day. It is used to open the door to the library.
Snake Mounds Book
The snake mounds book is found at the bottom-right shelf at the back of the
library at Schloss Ritter. It is given to Gerde.

Snake Rod
The snake rod is found in room nine on the outer wheel of the snake mound.
After all tiles have been put in the correct positions, the snake rod is used
on the tile in room three and the tile in room seven. It is used on the hole
in the confessional at St. Louis Cathedral on day 10, and is then put under
the kneeler.
Talisman
Gabriel will get the talisman at the end of the day. It is used on Grace
under St. Louis Cathedral on day 10 and is shown to Malia at the end of day
10. The talisman is then thrown to Mosely.

Boar Mask and Robe
The boar mask and robe is found in the storage room under St. Louis
Cathedral. The boar mask and robe is given to Mosely in Grace's room.
Book
The book is found in the office under St. Louis Cathedral. It is used to
select Brother Eagle while playing the drums.
Plastic Card
After summoning Brother Eagle on the drums, the plastic card can be found at
the left side of Dr. John's room. It is used to open the door to the money
room, the morgue and Grace's room.
Wolf Mask and Robe
The wolf mask and robe is found in the storage room under St. Louis
Cathedral. The wolf mask and robe is used on Gabriel in Grace's room.
