AS YOU START THE GAME, YOU ARE DOWNSTAIRS. STAY THERE UNTIL THE WIZARD APPEARS. HE 
WILL TELL YOU TO CLEAN HIS CHAMBER POT IN HIS BEDROOM. {IF HE SAY'S TO CLEAN SOMETHING 
ELSE THEN YOU MUST RESTORE THE GAME, BECAUSE YOU START BY GOING TO THE BEDROOM} 
REMEMBER, YOU MUST PLAY THE GAME FAST BECAUSE IF YOU WASTE TIME THE WIZARD WILL APPEAR 
AND KILL YOU. NOW GO UPSTAIRS AND ENTER THE BEDROOM. CLEAN THE POT NEAR THE BED. OPEN 
THE DRAWER UNDER THE MIRROR TO GET THE MAGIC MIRROR. OPEN THE DRAWER OF THE DRESSER TO 
GET THE ROSE PETAL ESSENCE. OPEN THE CLOSET AND LOOK BEHIND THE CLOTHES TO GET THE 
MAGIC MAP. LOOK OVER THE CLOSET TO GET THE BRASS KEY WITCH OPEN'S THE CABINET IN THE 
OFFICE. LEAVE THE ROOM AND GO TO YOUR ROOM STRAIT DOWN THE HALL AND TYPE: HIDE ALL. 
THEN GO DOWNSTAIRS TO THE [E] ROOM AND GET THE CUP ON THE TABLE. GO UP TO THE KITCHEN 
AND GET THE FOOD ON THE TABLE. GET THE KNIFE, SPOON AND BOWL. GO WAY UPSTAIRS TO THE 
TOWER. [IF THE WIZARD'S NOT THERE THEN GO DOWN AND UP AGAIN] WHEN THE WIZARD'S THERE, 
WAIT UNTIL HE TELLS YOU THAT HE IS GOING ON A TRIP. GET THE FLY ON THE FLOOR. [IF YOU 
SEE THE CAT IN THE HOUSE, GRAB HIM AND GET SOME FUR] GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM AND GET YOUR 
STUFF BY SAYING: GET ALL. NOW GO OUTSIDE THE HOUSE AND GRAB A CHICKEN TO PLUCK A 
FEATHER FROM IT. WHEN WALKING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN PATH, SAVE THE GAME OFTEN.

[NOW WHENEVER YOU SEE AN EAGLE FLYING. STAY THERE UNTIL HE DROPS A FEATHER. GET IT] 
FIND THE TREE WITH A HOLE WITCH IS [W\S] FROM THE MOUNTAIN. GET THREE DRY ACORNS LYING 
UNDER THE TREE. PUT YOUR HAND IN THE HOLE AT THE TREE AND CLIMB THE LADDER THAT 
APPEARS. [SAVE GAME] ENTER THE TREEHOUSE. [ONLY IF ROBBER IS ASLEEP. IF NOT, RESTORE 
GAME] GET THE PURSE ON THE TABLE. GET OUT OF THE TREEHOUSE AND GO TO THE SHOP [E2X] 
BUY FISH OIL, LARD, SALT AND A POUCH. PET THE DOG TO GET SOME FUR. LEAVE THE SHOP AND 
GO LEFT 2X TO THE DESERT AND TYPE "SHOW MIRROR TO MEDUSA". ENTER THE DESERT AND FACE 
RIGHT. WHEN MEDUSA APPROACHES YOU, USE THE MIRROR ON HER. GET THE CACTUS PLANT NEAR 
THE LARGE ROCK AND THEN THE REPTILE SKIN WITCH IS [S2X] GO [E2X\N] TO THE THREE BEARS 
HOUSE. ENTER IT. [IF YOU SEE THEM RESTORE GAME] GET THE SMALL BOWL OF PORRIDGE FROM 
THE TABLE. [IF NOT ON TABLE EXIT HOUSE AND RE-ENTER] GO UPSTAIRS AND GET THE THIMBLE 
FROM THE DRAWER. EXIT THE HOUSE AND GET THE DEW IN THE GARDEN. GO [E] AND GET THE 
MISTLETOE IN THE TREE. GO DOWN AND FILL THE SPOON WITH MUD IN THE STREAM. GO [E] TO 
THE OCEAN AND FILL THE TIN CUP WITH OCEAN WATER. GO TO THE MOUNTAIN PATH [S\W2X] AND 
GO BACK TO THE WIZARD'S HOUSE.

THE WIZARD'S HOUSE

ENTER THE HOUSE [SAVE GAME BECAUSE THIS MUST BE DONE QUICKLY] AND GO UP TO THE STUDY. 
UNLOCK THE CABINET ON YOUR LEFT TO GET THE WAND. GO TO THE BOOKSHELF ON YOUR RIGHT AND 
LOOK AT THE BOOK IN THE CORNER. PUSH THE BOOK AND TURN THE LEVER. FIRST GO UPSTAIRS TO 
YOUR ROOM AND HIDE YOUR STUFF. GET THE CAT HAIR, SPOON, PORRIDGE, FISH OIL AND BOWL. 
RETURN TO THE TRAPDOOR AND ENTER IT. GO DOWNSTAIRS. [BECAREFULL IF CAT THERE] GET THE 
REST OF THE ITEMS ON THE BACK SHELF. GET THE FISH BONE, NIGHTSHADE JUICE, MANDRAKE, 
SAFFRON, TOAD SPITTLE AND TOADSTOOL. BEFORE YOU PROCEED TO MAKE A SPELL, MAKE SURE YOU 
HAVE ALL THE INGREDIENTS FOR THAT PARTICULAR SPELL. READ THE BOOK AND BEGIN BY DOING 
THE "TRANSFORMING ANOTHER INTO A CAT" SPELL. [CHECK MANUAL WHEN MAKING A SPELL] WHEN 
YOUR'E DONE, CRUMBLE THE COOKIE INTO THE PORRIDGE. NOW GET OUT OF THE CELLER AND PULL 
THE LEVER. MOVE THE BOOK AND PUT BACK THE WAND IN THE CABINET. GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM 
AND HIDE YOUR INVENTORY UNDER THE BED. GET THE POISON PORRIDGE. [IF YOU STILL DON'T 
HAVE THE EAGLE'S FEATHER, GET YOUR MAP AND CLICK ON THE CAVE IN THE UPPER CORNER. USE 
NORMAL MODE AND GO W2X\E2X. WHEN YOU HAVE THE FEATHER, GO UP TO THE MOUNTAIN AND TO 
THE HOUSE. HIDE THE FEATHER IN YOUR ROOM] NOW GO TO THE KITCHEN AND WAIT FOR THE 
WIZARD. [USE SLOW OR NORMAL MODE. IT'S GONNA TAKE LONG UNTIL HE APPEAR'S] WHEN HE ASK 
FOR FOOD, GO DOWN AND GIVE HIM THE PORRIDGE. NOW GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM AND GET YOUR 
STUFF. GO DOWN TO THE STUDY AND GET THE WAND IN THE CABINET. GO DOWN TO THE CELLAR AND 
DO THE FLYING LIKE ON EAGLE / FLY SPELL. WHEN YOU DONE THAT, USE YOUR MAP AND CLICK ON 
THE TREEHOUSE. CHANGE INTO A FLY AND GO INTO THE HOLE UNDER THE TREE. GET OUT AND 
CHANGE YOURSELF BACK TO NORMAL. NOW GO [E2X] TO THE TAVERN AND CHANGE YOURSELF INTO A 
FLY AGAIN. STAY THERE UNTIL THE THIEV'ES TALK. TURN YOURSELF TO NORMAL AND GO TO THE 
CAVE COVERED WITH WEB. [N2X] THEN CHANGE INTO AN EAGLE AND FLY TOWARDS THE CAVE. ENTER 
THE CAVE WHEN YOU RETURN. YOU WILL THEN RECEIVE THE STONE OF AMBER AND CAN DO THE 
"TELEPORTATION AT RANDOM" SPELL. A SHIP WILL ALSO APPEAR IN THE HARBOUR. NOW RETURN 
HOME [S\W] AND COMPLETE ALL FIVE SPELLS IN THE CELLAR. ONCE YOU DONE THAT USE YOUR MAP 
AND CLICK ON THE TAVERN. GO IN. TALK TO THE MEN AND GIVE THEM THE PURSE. EXIT THE 
TAVERN AND GO [E2X] AND BOARD THE SHIP.

THE PIRATE SHIP

INSIDE THE CARGO HOLD, GO [E] AND GET THE SMALL BOX. RETURN [W] AND DROP THE BOX NEAR 
THE BIG BOX. JUMP ON THE BOX 2X THEN ON THE LADDER. IF YOU SEE THE CAPTAIN, GO DOWN 
THE LADDER AND UP AGAIN UNTIL HE'S GONE. GET ALL YOUR POSSESIONS FROM THE CHEST IN THE 
CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS. CLOSE THE CHEST AND GO [E] TO THE LIFEBOAT. [IF PIRATE THERE, GO 
LEFT AND RE-ENTER UNTIL HE'S GONE] GET THE SHOVEL AND GO DOWN THE LADDER TO THE CARGO 
HOLD. GO [E] AND LISTEN TO THE RATS CONVERSATION. STAY THERE AND USE SLOW MODE. IT'S 
GONNA TAKE LONG UNTIL YOU GET TO DAVENTRY. AS SOON AS YOU HEAR SOMEONE SHOUT! "PREPARE 
TO ANCHOR", POUR THE SLEEP POWDER ON THE FLOOR. JUMP TO THE LADDER AND CLIMB UP TO THE 
TOP DECK. CLIMB DOWN THE SMALL LADDER AND GO RIGHT. [WACTH OUT FOR PIRATE IF THERE] GO 
INTO THE WATER AND SWIM TO THE ISLAND. ON THE ISLAND GO [E\N\S] AND THE MAN WILL BE 
GONE. GO BETWEEN THE ROCK AND THE PALM TREE AND USE SLOW MODE. WALK EIGHT PACES [E] 
AND DIG UNTIL YOU FIND A TREASURE CHEST. GO UP AND RIGHT TO THE MOUNTAIN WALL AND RUB 
THE STONE. WHEN YOU'RE ON A CLIFF WITH CAVES, CLIMB THE CLIFFS. [YOU WORK IT OUT] 
FOLLOW THE PATH TO DAVENTRY.

GO [W\N] AND TALK TO THE OLD MAN. THEN GO [S\E] INTO THE CAVE. CLIMB THE STAIRS UNTIL 
YOU'RE OUTSIDE THE CAVE. MAKE YOURSELF INVISIBLE BY "RUB OINTMENT ON SELF". NOW GO 
LEFT AND DEFEAT THE DRAGON. STIR BREW WITH FINGER AND SAY: BREW OF STORM CHURN IT UP. 
WHEN THE DRAGON'S DEAD, UNTIE ROSELLA AND TAKE HER TO THE CASTLE.
